Nancy started working at Brandywine Valley Veterinary Hospital in high school as a veterinary assistant in 1975. Following graduation Coatesville high school, she attended Harcum College in Rosemont, PA., in their Veterinary Technology program. As a certified Veterinary Technician she works in all aspects of the practice assisting the doctors in surgery and treating pets during office visits. Because of her excellent veterinary education and years of experience, she has a wealth of small animal knowledge and is a wonderful resource for clients and fellow team members. Of working at Brandywine Valley Veterinary Hospital, Nancy comments: “I enjoy meeting our clients and their pets. Being a veterinary technician is a challenging and rewarding career.”
In January 2016 co-workers, family and friends were delighted to help her celebrate her 40th anniversary of working at BVVH! She and Dr. Moss have been a wonderful surgical team for all those years, and we are continually impressed with her excellent skills as a surgery technician and ability with anesthesia. She is locally famous for her tact and diplomacy in dealing with cats of all kinds.
Nancy has been married since 1980, and is the proud mother of three children, Steven, Amanda, and Matthew. She is also enjoys being a grandmother to Dylan and Rachel. Dylan says his Grandma ” She knows everything and loves everyone”. Nancy shares her home with “Abby” a Cockapoo, “Nacho” a Chihuahua, three cats, and a parrot named “Nikki”. Her barnyard includes donkey, a pony, one goat, several rabbits, and a chicken.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family traveling and cruising in the Eastern Caribbean and Mexico.
