Dr. Toni-Ann Vidal, a native of Southern Lancaster County, joined the BVVH pet health care team in February 2018. While earning her undergraduate degree at Millersville University, Dr. Vidal worked and gained experience at a small animal practice, Willow Run Veterinary Clinic and volunteering at Quarryville Herd Health a dairy practice based in Quarryville, Pa.
In 2014, upon graduating from Millersville, Dr. Vidal packed a few bags and moved to Saint Kitts to attend The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
While attending Ross University, Dr. Vidal adopted one of the island dogs, a “coconut retriever” – Tuck(ed), where he keeps his tail and a pretty Tabi-co kitten, known as Kink –because she has one in her tail!
Dr. Vidal currently reside just over the county line in the Lancaster area, close to friends and family.
Dr. Vidal, an avid hiker, has climbed the volcano in Saint Kitts, 6 times, travelling to Colorado and Central Pennsylvania to rock climb and hike. When her feet are sore, she saddles up and trail rides or stays home and composes poetry under Tuck’s watchful eye.
