Vaccines

In recent years there has been much discussion regarding vaccinations.  Our hospital feels strongly that vaccinating your pet based on the currently available vaccines is needed to ensure their long term health.  We believe the current vaccines are safe and effective at preventing serious illness and saving lives.  We recognize that for some clients there will be controversy and hesitancy surrounding vaccinations and that some vaccinations may not be necessary for some pets.  We are open to discussing the individual risks and benefits of vaccines with each individual pet.

Raw Diets

The health and safety of not only our patients, but our clients is always a priority for us at BVVH. The American Veterinary Medical Association has released their stance on raw diets for dogs and cats in a recent policy you can view below.

We strive as your pet’s care team to always educate our clients so that they are equipped with the tools to make the best decisions for their pet(s) within their household.
