Renee Trionfetti, VMD, SDEP-Abdomen Certified Sonographer
Veterinarian
Dr. Trionfetti graduated from University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. After graduation, she worked in both general practice and emergency medicine.
Through both ER and GP experience, Dr. Trionfetti began utilizing ultrasound as a non-invasive, low-stress diagnostic tool. This quickly became a passion as it helped to expand analytical insight by answering many clinical questions. Dr. Trionfetti went on to complete ultrasound training through Sonopath, Sound’s Academy of Veterinary Imaging, and the NAVC.
August 2024, Dr. Trionfetti obtained her SDEP-abdomen certification through Sonopath and continues to expand her veterinary and ultrasound knowledge through CE events. Recently, Dr. Trionfetti became a SDEP-Abdomen Lab Instructor at Sonopath Education Center in Andover NJ. Further goals are to obtain SDEP-Echo certification and IVUSS Certification.
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Renee was a critical care registered nurse in New Jersey. Renee graduated from Quinnipiac University, School of Nursing in 2007. She worked in the emergency-trauma department and intensive care units. Ultimately, her love for animals and medicine led her to veterinary medicine.
Renee and her husband are kept busy at home raising their two young daughters, a 6-year-old and a 3 1/2-year-old. Outside of work, Renee enjoys staying active and being outdoors with her family including their dog, Daisy. Daisy is a high-energy rescue who loves to go running, hiking, and playing ball. Their 2 cats mostly love snacks and a warm lap!
